Hear My Cry

Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah (Psalm 61:1–4, NKJV)

Hear my cry O God, attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth, will I cry unto you. And when my heart is overwhelmed; please lead me to the rock, that is higher than I, that is higher than I. For thou O God, have been a shelter unto me, a strong tower from the enemy. And when my heart is overwhelmed, please lead me to the rock, that is higher than I, that is higher than I.

God you are so good to me. Always there, always ready. You provide the answer before the question, the protection before the attack, the provision before the need. It’s so easy for my heart to get overwhelmed, especially when I fall into my own thinking and my own perspective. But from the end of the earth I will cry out to you, and you will always lead me to the rock that is higher than I. You’ve always been my shelter, always been my strong tower. I will abide in your presence forever Lord, I will trust in the shelter of your wings, remaining under the good care of your arms. You know what I don’t, you’re doing what I can’t, you’re there when I don’t see, your plan is on track when my heart is overwhelmed. You are such a great and awesome God. I will abide in your presence forever, & rest in the shelter of your good care. Thank you Lord Jesus, thank you. In your name, amen.
