Heavenly father, please help me stay alert. Keep my eyes open for the subtle signs of the enemy’s work. He’s prowling around, Lord, looking for someone to devour. Please give me the wisdom, faith, and strength to stand strong in this battle of scheming deception that he wages against me. Give me the discernment to better see his schemes. The weapons of my warfare are not of the flesh, Lord, they are mighty in you. In you is the divine power to destroy the strongholds that the enemy tries to erect. Keep me strong in you Lord, and in the power of your might.
Convict me daily to put on the whole armor of God, that I would be able to stand against the enemy’s schemes. Remind me often that I am not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Lord Jesus, I will take up your whole armor, so that I will be able to stand in the evil day, and I will pray at all times, with all prayer and supplication, relying solely on you Lord. Because far greater is the power of your life in me, than he who is in the world. My victory is in you alone Lord, help me to walk daily in your Spirit to experience that victory. Thank you Lord. In your name, amen.
