You Are My Peace

Psalm 4:8 (nlt)
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.
John 14:27 (esv) - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
John 16:33 (esv) - . . . in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
Ephesians 2:14 (esv) - For he himself is our peace . . .

Lord Jesus, you are my peace. Because of that Lord, I can both lie down and sleep, for you alone will keep me safe. You are my peace. You came to give me true peace. Not as the world gives have you given to me, but you have given me yourself. As I cling to you, Lord, as I rest in you, my heart will not be troubled, and my fear will be replaced by your peace. There is tribulation in this world Lord, but wholly resting in you, I have peace. Truly resting in you I have real peace, supernatural peace, peace that passes understanding, because you have overcome the world. You alone are my peace, you alone. You will make me lie down in green pastures and lead me beside still waters. You will restore my soul. Thank you Lord, that when I needed peace you gave me yourself. Thank you so, so much Jesus. In your precious name, amen.
