God's Love and Care
The scriptures noted turned into personal prayer.
Heavenly Father, you love us so completely (John 16:27). We trust in you alone God, because you richly give us all we need in this life (1Tim 6:17). You Lord, who has made all of heaven and earth, you pour out your blessing upon us from your holy throne room (Psalm 134:3). And the blessing you pour out on us makes us rich Lord, you add no sorrow with it (Prov 10:22).
For you Lord God are our sun and our shield. You pour out your grace and glory upon us. And you will withhold no good thing from those who follow you wholeheartedly (Psalm 84:11) .
We lift up our eyes to you Lord. We are not afraid. For you Lord God are right here with us, and you are a mighty savior. You take delight in us because we are yours, your steadfast love calms all our fears, you are rejoicing over us with joyful songs (Zeph 3:16–17).
You saw me before I was born Lord. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts toward me, God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me - always! (Psalm 139:16–18)
Lord, you are the one who formed me, and you say to me, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. Lord, I know that when I go through deep waters, you will be with me. When I go through rivers of difficulty, you will not let me drown. When I walk through the fire, you will not let me be burned up; the flames will not consume me. For you are the Lord, my God, the Holy One of Israel, my Savior. You are the Holy One who loves me and cares for me (Isa 43:1–4).
And so Lord, I hear your command to be strong and courageous! I will be Lord. I will not be afraid or discouraged. Because you, my God are with me wherever I go (Josh 1:9). Thank you Lord. I love you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
